Flowers have always been a source of inspiration. Claude Monet wrote, " I perhaps owe becoming an artist to flowers." There will always be creative spirits who bring flowers into their work for all of us to enjoy. The first days of spring make the heart sing. Gardens are blooming and talented and creative people everywhere are finding inspiration in flowers. Their creations brighten up our days.

Everything is beautiful. I am excited to see Carolyn Roehm has a new book. The parrot tulip is breathtaking. Just love all the blooms this time of year. Thanks a beautiful beginning to the week. Bonnie
ReplyDeleteCarolyn's book is beautiful! A great coffee table book and filled with sumptuous photos.
DeleteWishing you a wonderful week!
Stunning photos! I wish we were close to having peonies (especially ones that pink and lush) out in our part of the world but not for a while yet. The Carolyn Roehm book looks like something I'll really enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI think you would love her book. Peonies are tricky to grow here also, but for some reason the two peony bushes I have in my garden are happy. Gardens will be blooming profusely by May in your part of the world, and that will be a sight to see. Enjoy!
DeleteSunday, hello and happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post! I love all of these photos, and although I love flowers I have not mastered the art of arranging them. Perhaps if I look closer at some of these beautiful books I will be able to do better.
Carolyn Roehm by the way is an unbelievably talented woman!
Have a great week Sunday, Elizabeth
I love flowers, too, and have just planted my own little, humble pot of wildflowers. I hope they bloom soon. I just love the Valentino dress - it is a dream.
ReplyDeleteThe new china at El Encanto is so beautiful - wisteria? Love every photo, all so beautiful. I'd always heard that peonies weren't well suited to our climate, but after reading your comment, am going to try. They're one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI am loving all things flowers also, especially chintz fabrics. I love that Colefax and Fowler floral.
